The Group of Death - A Soccer Politics Project

The World Cup is an event full of traditions. One of the most predictable is the anointing of a "Group of Death" - a group that is more difficult than the others. This website gives a history of the idea, examples of classic groups of death, and discusses how the concept may evolve in the future.

This website was created for a course at the University of Virginia: HIST 3559 - Soccer Politics.
